About Olive Dale
OUR STORY
We began with a simple idea:
Can we create a place where families can live closer to nature, grow some of their own food, build sustainable homes and enjoy a stronger sense of community?
That idea became Olive Dale self-ufficient community.
What started as a vision gradually became a growing community. Over the years, more than 30 families have joined us by acquiring land and becoming part of the Olivedale journey.
Some families are now building their homes. Others are preparing their land and planning their transition from city life.
Today, Olive Dale is no longer just an idea. It is a community in the making with road access, electricity and internet infrastructure already available, and families taking real steps toward a more natural and self-reliant lifestyle.
We are building slowly, thoughtfully and together.
And we believe the best part of Olive Dale is still ahead.
OUR JOURNEY
At Olive Dale, our mission is to bring together like-minded individuals who share a passion for self-sufficiency, agriculture, and responsible resource management. We aim to build a strong and organized community based on homesteading values, where members actively participate in growing vegetables, raising livestock, sharing practical knowledge, and supporting one another. Through collaboration, education, and productive contribution, we strive to create a system that encourages independence, responsibility, and long-term community growth.
